Musician - arranger - composer
After completing my accordion studies with Prof. Elsbeth Moser at the Hanover University of Music, I played concerts in Europe, Japan (with the violinist Hiroto Yashima), China (Flavian Ensemble), and went on numerous concert tours to Iceland with various chamber music ensembles and jazz bands. This also included the Latin band Blue Brasil. I played as an accordionist at the Schauspielhaus Hannover, developed sound installations with live improvisations with visual artists in Bremen and Worpswede, and composed film and advertising music. The music for the Icelandic films “Vaxandi Tungl” (2012), “Eitur” (2017), “Auður” (2023) are included. I worked as a keyboarder with some pop musicians in Iceland. In 2023 I wrote and played the music for the Goethe play “The Complicit” at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg. For several years I have been playing the accordion and the Icelandic Langspil in concerts with the soprano Hlín Pétursdóttir Behrend and a Viennese program with the actresses Victoria Trauttmannsdorff and Theresita Colloredo.
